Hi! I am Umme. I am the creator behind Umme's Journal and I am so happy you are here. I am 30 years old. I am from Bangladesh. I came here to America in 2018. I have a daughter named Layla and she is my boss. I currently live in Indiana. I studied Business Management back in my country and did my associates in Database Management after I moved to the US. I also have a degree in Interior Designing. I started Junk Jounraling back in October 2024 and I fell in love with journaling again. I have always been a big hoarder of stickers. I love putting stickers in everything I own to make it more personal. But it's hard to find the right stickers every time. I started drawing on my iPad and I fell in love with drawing again. I took art class when I was 12 and I have always loved doodling, painting, and drawing freestyle. With the love of Junk Journaling, and drawing I started my business 'Umme's Journal' on Etsy in January 2025 and I got tremendous support from the junk journaling community. It still blows me away to see everyone's love, support, and positive feedbacks. I wouldn't be here today without the support of my community. Today I have journal papers, themed packs, journal charms along with my sticker collection and I just started my own happy mail club which is a big win for me (shedding a few tears).
